I am so glad that I stumbled upon your website. When I was a college radio station DJ in 1988 I played your album on just about every show I did. I have been looking and looking for the stuff that I loved, but could never find it because I couldn't manage to remember your name! Yipee, your name is Polkacide

Last night was stupendous! Polkacide packed Cafe du Nord with old friends and new, stomping, dancing, polkaing and spilling beer all over! Mia, Freya, Sirah, Mark, Rachel, Christine, Billy, Jennifer, Andrew, Cheese Kurd, etc. They were all there and they were all looking good and dancing away in the pit. But best of all was POLKACIDE! One of the best shows ever. New members Max and John proved anyone can do polkas but only Polkacide can truly move a room full of cynical urbanites to dance and forget being cool. Great additions! Thank you, you guys! We miss the old members (here's to you Johnny, Maggie and Dr. Mooseknuckles) but damn! they were good last night. kisses! piwo! Polkacide!!
